They say they are putting more effort into this one than the last one. I think UT3 was just a quick way to make money. Epic has been set on Gears of War. Perhaps they are taking a break from Gears and revisiting Unreal. I would personally love to see them remake Unreal II. That game was so bad, it wasn't funny (only thing good was the music). The fact that this game will be cloud-based is real interesting. According to this article, people can make content and share content freely via the cloud data. That is instant satisfaction to any PC gamer. Should be promising!

In case anyone is still following this, here is pre-alpha footage of the game. Obviously, it is still very much in development, and it doesn't look too different from UT's fast-paced, arena-based combat experience (which is not a bad thing). So satisfying to hear the classic announcer's voice again. The development team is building this game well open to the public. I don't know about anyone else, but as a fan of UT99, I am pumped for this one, and to hear that it is free is just amazing. I wanted to provide an update on UT2015 for everyone. I have been keeping up with this game via Facebook, and they have recently announced that they have updated the pre-alpha maps with full textures and rendering. And according to this video, you can now play the pre-alpha, as well as download the Unreal Engine and begin modding if you'd like absolutely free of charge. I am really, really hoping this game will bring back some old voices to the gaming fray, as well as the newer ones and we can have an absolute blast fragging in the game that started this clan. Unreal Tournament 2015 is the next installment of the series of fast, arena-based, bloody fun. The best part is the game will be absolutely FREE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4tNU2jgTZU
