Tsar is the Russian word, also for the Latin "Caesar". What I didn't know was that Kaiser was ever used in the context of the "Holy Roman Empire". I always assumed it was a title the German Emperor's took after the unification of Germany in the 1800's (until the end of the First World War). Now I know...

Not saying your source / answer is wrong. My answer was certainly wrong. (Russia isn't part of Europe in any case) Just commenting on how the name Caesar has been translated and used a lot of times.

If mountains were measured from their base rather from sea level, this would be the world's tallest, since its base is on the ocean floor. Which mountain is this?
