Well I figured since I love crawfish, and I won't be able to have them for a while going with going through the Stem Cell Transplant, I thought I would overdo a crawfish boil and just make myself not want any for a while by having too much. They tasted great! Also had some shrimp, hotdogs, sasuage, squid, corn, garlic, onions, mushrooms, lemons, red potatoes and many other add ins to the spicy craboil water :) Spicy Horseradish mixed with Ketchup makes a great dipping sauce as well!

Below is the 39lbs of crawfish, we cooked over 77lbs of crawfish, 15lbs of shrimp and all the other yummies!

Oh god why do this to me!! I love them critters they are so tasty. We do something similar, at my great uncles in the Maritimes when we visit with all the family. But there its lobster, crab, corn, sausage, and potatoes, all cooked in Old Bay Seasoning and beer and water. Crawfish i love also, always eat them down at my aunts in Northern Florida.

I hope you enjoyed every minute of it, you deserve it.

They were very very delicious!!! YUMMY! I had nice cold leftovers Monday and Tuesday evening for supper. Crawfish taste good too when they are cold and fresh out of the fridge, gives the spices a little longer to soak in ;)

You better believe they look good :) I am updating my blog with the process of cooking all those little bad boys. Crawfish, something I look forward to every year, that and Mardi Gras King Cakes :)

Uh, might want to wait to the spring, crawfish season usually begins in the spring, usually after Mardi Gras, goes perfect with Friday's during lent with the no Meat. That's why the no meat thing never really bothered anyone in New Orleans, so much seafood to eat anyways...
