Many are asking why it takes so long to connect when connecting to your server or trying to get downloads or getting awaiting connection or awaiting keycode authentication when trying to connect to the server. The reason why it happens after each download is that the server disconnects you and then you download and then you have to connect to the server again, so it has to start the connection and authentication process all over again. You just have to be patient and wait for the connection or authentication to happen, this can take from 20 seconds to over a minute sometimes. You just need to be patient and wait! POTW, Outlaw, uZa have all posted on this issue with Activision Tech Support Forums. Someone posted a week ago and Activision hasn't at least given a response!  I hope they get it fixed soon, or someone comes up with a work around!

Not really a work around...
I tested things out for about an hour yesterday...
The cracked server option is not an option, everyone would need to change their serial number to a cracked serial number in order to join, as real serial numbers do not work on cracked servers, as the error that appears is "KEY_IS_GOOD". Then if you used a cracked serial number for your game, then you can't join real servers, so it is a catch 22, damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Not a simple solution.
