{uZa}Maj_D's daughter Jessica was one of six students, from all three south Ms county school's chosen to go to a Law camp in Chicago on July 19th to stay at the University of Chicago for a week. Only 30 students from five areas will be going, including Washington DC, New Orleans, Providence RI and Chicago. HOW FREAKING COOL IS THIS! It's being sponsored by the American Bar Association, Council on Legal Education Opportunity, America's Promise Alliance and funded by the Department of Justice. There will be workshops and group activities, as well as interaction with law students and young lawyers. And presentations by some of the high profile Law firms in the area including the Sidley Law Firm, the one the Obama's worked for. (cant be all good news) anyway, what an opportunity for a 16 year old. And I think Tim would agree, she'd make a good laywer. She sure can be a *****.  We are soooooo Proud of her! Way to Go Jessica! Someone need's to keep me and Killjoy outta Jail!

Thank's bud! I'm just beside myself right now. The more I think about it the worse it gets. I did word something kinda confusing tho, she wasn't chosen from the three costal county schools. It's chosen from all the schools "in the three costal counties". There were two from each school district. Were talking thousands of kids. I'm gonna dance a jig. This is just such a huge deal.
