How can I "embed" an MP3 file hosted somewhere?

Use the new "mp3" BBCode in the "edit" controls at the top when you are posting.

All you have to do is get the URL to any MP3 file (from any web site that has .mp3's or hosted by you on a file sharing site like http://www.fileden.com)

Put the URL for the .mp3 in between the "mp3" BBCodes like this:

[mp3]ftp://uzaeagle.serveftp.com/music/1%20-%20New%20Stuff/Calico%20Horse%20-%20Idioteque.mp3[/mp3]

And you will get a nice little player AND anyone can DOWNLOAD the .mp3 by clicking on the little green "gear" next to the player.
