there were a ton of Bighorn sheep in the area, Black Bears, we found a ton of Grizzly Tracks near the Berry shrubs we were pushing through.
alot of Deer to

Im thinking of getting a New Digital SLR some time soon, so i can take it out when we go backpacking.
Not quite sure what would be better for rugged terrain and so on, most of those cameras can relay on getting cleaned constantly

I don't think I have been there...to Mosquito Creek ...but that is a beautiful drive...I love the Parkway, I would recommend that drive to anyone. Here are some pics I took last year. I am not sure if you have ever been to Horseshoe Lake..it is a lot closer to Jasper...great cliff jumping...small hike in.  This is right at the bottom of that huge climb on the highway.  And of course the icefields.  _________________

I was looking at some Nikon ones and they have some more rugged cameras. I did buy a point and shot Olympus, which is very sturdy...though I would prefer taking my canon SLR.... I do think I need a bigger camera bag though.. _________________
