Well, me and some friends went out again on Saturday to the British Columbia side of the Rockies.
I forgot my Camera so these pics im stealing from my friend lol
It was a bit of a drive out there almost 3 hours but well worth it after you get out of that car and light up a smoke everything is all good, especially when there is a 10 point buck chillin with ya in the parking lot.
One of the prime trails in the area, you see 14 glaciers, 3 rivers, 16 waterfalls, and 7 lakes.
we started on the trail into Little Yoho Valley(valley bottom)
here is the Yoho River, Cutting deep into the rocks.
I think this was called Laughing falls.
Matt(gamertag OverKill!) and me on some Moraines on the Presidents range, this picture jumps like 6 hours into the day, after climbing up 2400 meters
a view from the side of the trail
The temperature was low up here, it was 0c for some of it, so like 33f. we got snowed on, rained, on and the wind was producing 60km gusts
we were with the Glaciers, they carved out the trail pretty neat
Massive boulders the glaciers left behind in their retreat, this one was almost 60 feet long
here is us coming half way down the trail at the end, looking at the falls. takakkaw falls, the Second highest Waterfall in Canada, its Cree for "it is Magnificent"
