So, as for many I'm sure money is tight this year so for x-mas I'm building my son a "hand me down PC"... But, to give it some flair i decided to custom mod his PC case.. he's 9 years old and loves anything to do with our military so I thought a US Army mod was in order. Here is where I am at this time. I will update as I go.. Comments and input is welcomed.

Forgot to take a picture of the case before I started. Here it is.

Hated the window of the case so I modded it. later on after paint I will add a piece of plexiglass to it.

I forgot to add the hardware I'd be using. Most of it was from former rigs of mine some stuff I bought off friends on EVGA's Forums.. The GPU was a prize from EVGA for the "Lucky #777" giveaway. Still not a bad system at all in my opinion..

ASUS P5N-D LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0
G.Skill PI 2x2GB DDR2 PC-6400
EVGA GTX260 Core 216 SSC
Raptor X 150GB 10,000RPM HHD
OCZ Extreme Gamers 700watt PSU
LG 19" widescreen LCD 1440x900
Saitek keyboard
Logitech MX518 mouse

Been working through the week and now I'm starting to put things back together.

The V on the door will be black/bronze like the grill just haven't got that far yet....

Also the rivets will be painted the same black/bronze haven't done that yet either lol

And the door window hasn't gotten the plastic protecting off it yet...

Looks like you are doing a great job!

I found something you might be interested in adding to this PC.
Stardock.com has many really cool themes in the MyColors selection!
This one is a camo desktop theme and looks really cool:

Well I've started to put everything together here is where I am at.. Still have to add patches to it and I'm going to add a black U.S. Army start to the other side panel. Starting to look more Mash themed..
