Back early from Skiing this weekend, my buddy dislocated his shoulder lol had a great time back country skiing out near Marmot yesterday, that 60cm of new snow was heavenly. My dog had a great time out there, stomped around with the sledders

Dang 2 guys just died in one of my favorite hiking spots, Burstall Pass, Kananaskis.
Dont people pay attention though, the same spot where it happened there is frequent rock slides We placed a Sign in July to watch for Rocks falling, right on the Path, high risk zone..

I am glad you had a great time. As for your buddy I hope he is on the mend.
I miss that area so much. We use to spend a lot of time hiking in the back country. I also love Jasper, I prefer it over Banff. My friends and I would head to Annette lake every summer, great swimming and to be surrounded by mountains. We even went swimming when there was ice on the lake.

These last two weekends have been pretty bad. Bunch of road closures. I had some friends that wanted to go to Sunshine this weekend, don't think they went.
