Thanks guys. We are having a great time. Took lots of pics of Pearl Harbor. Though now we are under a Tsunami (sp) warning, I prefer snowstorm warnings.  Hopefully it won't be bad and thankfully we are high up. _________________

Make sure you do get high too. The devastation in Japan is unbelievable. 33ft wave. Apart from that. Have fun.

HERE IN LOS OSOS/MORRO BAY WE ARE TO GET 3.3FT OF SURGE, BUT JUST 5 MILES SOUTH THE SURGE IS TO BE 7FT IN THE SAN LUIS HARBOR. NORTH OF US IN SANTA CRUZ THE HARBOR IS SLOWLY BEING POUNDED AND SOUTH IN VENTURA THE HELI'S ARE VIDEOING SOME EXTREME SURGES UNDERWATER. YOU CAN SEE THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE WATER TURNING INTO DARK GREEN AND BROWN RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THE MORON SURFERS OUT THERE THINKING THEY ARE GONNA CATCH THE ULTIMATE WAVE! OH WELL, A THINNING OF THE MORON GENE POOL  STAY SAFE AND YOU SHOULD REALLY GET SOME INTERESTING PICS AND STORIES FOR THE GRANDKIDS.

Hope you are having a great time, and wonderful Hawaii got spared from any bad damage, my Friend Kelsey went to Japan last month and is still there on the North east Coast, Iwate Prefecture. I called her Parents today to see if they have heard from her yet, they got a quick txt message. So I'm hoping she got to high ground. She works on my welding crew and can chug like a champion for a 115lb girl  _________________

Thanks all for the comments and emails. Thankfully where we were at there was no damage. I didn't sleep all night, the sirens and police. When it was suppose to hit, you could hear a pin drop outside, never heard a city so quiet. My heart goes out to the ones devastated by the terrible situation in Japan. How devastating and tragic. _________________

Hawaii is absolutely beautiful, we had wonderful time and also great visit with my family. Food was awesome, shopping also.....and I bought a toque there.  It was a nice toque...though the cashier called it a beanie. I gotta a lot of sun. I will post some pics soon. _________________

You may want to head home soon, lest you return with a radiant glow... Latest news reports on the reactors there are not too promising, and the Japanese version of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is issuing warnings to all Pacific islands, including Hawaii that radiation may be heading that way...
