Today we had a home visit/inspection for a second dog named Molly. We scored perfect on the inspection and the people thought we had done a tremendous job with Tasha. They were so impressed that they are now trying very hard to help us find another dog, as they think we will give any dog a great home. Molly was a 90 lbs. Pitbull-Mastiff mix. Very pretty dog! Low fat and the most muscle I have ever seen on a dog. She literally looked like she was on steroids!
They said Molly can easily jump a 6 foot fence and has several times. We took the two dogs for a walk together and all was perfect, but everytime we stopped and tried to let the dogs mingle, Molly kept trying to attack Tasha. Luckily Molly had on a muzzle. Tasha doesn't back away, but she doesn't bite or growl back either. She has social skills!
If Molly ever bit Tasha, I have no doubt she would fight back as she is never afraid. She just ignores dogs with bad social skills. So Molly was a no go. I would hate to have trouble later, so I am thankful that God made it clear right way.
Then I looked at another 130 lbs. Rotty and was very excited, but someone else had first dibs and took her. So no luck yet, but we keeping looking.
