If we had only kept her physically active, she could have gone at least another year. Her vet said her organs were very healthy, it was just her body that was falling a part. But she lived a good life and I'll never forget her... I cried more for her than I did my grandpa, lol.

Since the flooding i still cant get to my job site downtown which is still closed because the area still needs to be cleared, im working to clean up the stampede grounds which were severely flooded. Since most here(on this site) wouldnt know, we were hit with the worst flash flooding ever seen in this region, alot of communities are still evacuated. Over 100 thousand people were evacuated in Calgary alone. The downtown core was shut down and it still will be alot longer to get everything up and running. Might be one of the most costly natural disaster to hit Canada. its going to take billions upon billions to fix this area up, glad i live on high ground.

few of my friends were evacuated during the rush back on Friday, my gf she was with me at my bros house, when we heard about the evacuation in her neighborhood, that was one mad rush back to her place so she could get her pets. we got there and everything was already about 3 1/2 under water, we made some random floats and got help from a fire crew, that was a very long night.

Crazy!!!

I hope everyone recovers quickly. We didn't get hit too bad here. We were helping some that were flooded.

They said it was supposed to be extremely hot this summer in Texas. So hot, it would screw with a city's generators because the demands for AC. But I have to be honest, it has been pretty nice here lately. We've only been around lower nineties here, and sometimes high eighties. I've even had times where I was cold in my house and turned the fans off. Went to the river yesterday and it was beautiful.

Of course, we're only in the mid-beginnings of summer, so we still got August and September to go. We shall see if this weather keeps up.
