Bucs' Hayes stabbed in head, neck by girlfriend TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say the girlfriend of Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Geno Hayes stabbed him in the head and in the neck. A Hillsborough County Sheriff's spokeswoman says Hayes was taken to a hospital by a friend Saturday. The 21-year-old former Florida State player was treated and later released. Deputies arrested 19-year-old Shevelle Bagley on Saturday afternoon. The sheriff's spokeswoman says Hayes and Bagley got into an argument, which led to Bagley grabbing a pair of scissors and stabbing Hayes in the head. He managed to get the scissors away from her, but authorities say she then grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the neck. Bagley was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Jail records show she was released Sunday on $25,000 Our Bucs back in the news again!

Is the honeymoon over.... Dems face internal revolt over Obama agenda Solidarity of stimulus debate fades as lawmakers read fine print of bills Democratic leaders in Congress did not expect much Republican support as they pressed President Obama's ambitious legislative agenda. But the pushback they are receiving from some of their own has come as an unwelcome surprise. As the Senate inches closer to approving a $410 billion spending bill, the internal revolt has served as a warning to party leaders pursuing Obama's far-reaching plans for health-care, energy and education reform.

And now this.... Puerto Rico survives against Netherlands in WBC (baseball) SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) - Puerto Rico became the latest star-laden team to struggle against Netherlands pitchers at the World Baseball Classic. Yadier Molina's go-ahead double keyed a three-run rally in the eighth inning, and Puerto Rico beat a pesky Netherlands squad 3-1 on Monday night to advance to the second round of the World Baseball Classic. "The boys have experienced a lot, and me even more," Puerto Rico manager Jose Oquendo said. "There was no panic. The Netherlands played great. They can hold their heads up and I expect them to give a good battle to the Dominican Republic."

The Netherlands pulled off a major upset in its tournament opener Saturday, beating the Dominicans 3-2. The pitching staff, with coach Bert Blyleven in the dugout, also was impressive against favored Puerto Rico, protecting a 1-0 lead until the eighth. Wait a minute... isn't it hard to run the bases in those wooden shoes? HaHaHa J/K!!!! PR has a very good team this year and the Dutchies gave them a run for their money!!! WTG

Wait a minute... there's still a chance! The Netherlands will face the Dominican Republic again in an elimination game Tuesday night. The winner of that game will play Puerto Rico on Wednesday for first place in Group D.
