{uZa}Underdog wrote: Ahhhhhhhhhh.... high school! High School... So long ago! Geometry - Miss Murgle. Probably 75 years old, mean as a rabid wolverine. Couldn't see past the first row of desks though. I think I skipped about 70% of her class working as editor of the school newspaper. History - Mr Peters. Young "hip" 60's kinda guy. Took out all the desks and had us sit on rugs on the floor or outside under a tree when the weather was nice. Spent most of the year railing about Vietnam and Nixon. Earth Science - Mr Edmund. Loud. Redneck. Crew cut. Ex-military. Lousy science teacher, but great for kicking ass and taking names if you got out of line at football games or other school events. He did like to blow things up and set things on fire in class though, which was fun. Literature - Mr Lee. Over the top flamboyantly GAY at a time when "not that there is anything wrong with that" wasn't part of the dialog. Spent a semester on Shakespear's Julius Caesar done with a pronounced lisp. PE - Mr Rolands. I went out for track and field. After running up and down the bleachers for the 1,200 time I kinda lost interest in the whole damp smelly jock strap experience. Mr Rolands was also my driving instructor (it was part of the school curriculum then) and he was really good. Taught me a lot about defensive driving.
