They were sort of like the Dave Clark Five. Had a string of minor hits in the 60's but never quite broke out. "Indian Reservation" is one of the better known. It's weird, everyone knew of them from tons of TV appearances (they even had a series called "Where the Action Is") with their signature 1776 theme/costumes but I'm betting even someone who grew up in that era couldn't name 2 or 3 other Top 40 songs they did.

Like Long Hair
Great Airplane Strike
Louie, Louie (no, they didn't do THAT Louie, Louie - That was The Kingsmen)
Good Thing
Steppin' Out
Ups and Downs
Just Like Me
Him or Me
Kicks
Indian Reservation
Hungry
Birds of a Feather

We saw the Turtles-Flo&Eddie last year and they are still good, the voices can't carry the notes as long but sound good! 8-)

Not too bad. Lazy day. Nice here now, although it rained and thundered earlier today.
