Cool wallpaper. Hehe flash does not work on my iPod. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend
Doing well. Hope you are enjoying your trip to the "Big City".
Thanks. We had a wonderful visit with Marcus' family...the new cousin..so adorable. ...already spoiled.
We did a bit of shopping...no new shoes though....and for the record...I haven't bought any new shoes since last August went we went to Vegas.....
Great job on the sig....you will have to show me how to do that with music. Took me a bit to figure out what your sig did...but then I didn't have my headset on.
I hope your weekend went well.
Sounds like you had a nice time! Welcome back!
Thanks for the kudos on the sig. It's easy.
Just get Adobe Flash CS4 and install it. Then import a graphic or two and an mp3 file to the library.
Set the size of the project stage to the size of the background image.
Drag the background image to the stage, then convert it to a symbol/button.
Double click the image, and create a keyframe on the "over" state of the button. Highlight this state on the timeline.
Drag another image (like the trumpets on my airplane one) and the mp3 file to the stage. They will only show / play when the button is in the "over" state (when your mouse is over it).
Add some actionscript to the first frame of the flash, turning off the music when you "rollout" of the button (when you mouse moves off of it). You need this or the music will keep playing and if you move back over another instance of the music will start as well (as many times as you move on and off, turning the music into some kind of cacophony from hell)
Publish the .swf and you are all set.
As easy as waffles eh?
Well i did try with the program I have....and uploaded it to the uza site....don't think it worked....
It worked fine, it's just that with that program I gave you the background sound just starts playing and plays through. No way to turn it off and on. That's a problem with that program since music that can't be avoided will soon have the villagers marching up to the castle with pitchforks and flaming torches.
I can easily stick that song on that sig you have using the full-blown flash program and have it obey the mouseover action. Just post the sig as a .png or .jpg and let me know what the song is...

Oh no, I see A spiderweb is tangled up with me And I lost my head And thought of all the stupid things I'd said
Oh no, what's this? A spiderweb and I'm caught in the middle So I turned to run And thought of all the stupid things I'd done
And I never meant to cause you trouble And I never never meant to do you wrong Ah, well if I ever caused you trouble Oh no, I never meant to do you harm
Oh no, I see A spiderweb and it's me in the middle So I twist and turn But here am I in my little bubble
Singing and I never meant to cause you trouble And I never meant to do you wrong Ah, well if I ever caused you trouble Oh no, I never meant to do you harm
They spun a web for me They spun a web for me They spun a web for me

Styx - The best of times
Tonights the night well make history, honey, you and i And Ill take any risk to tie back the hands of time And stay with you here tonight I know you feel these are the worst of times I do believe its true When people lock their doors and hide inside Rumor has it its the end of paradise But I know, if the world just passed us by Baby I know, you wouldnt have to cry
The best of times are when Im alone with you Some rain some shine, well make this a world for two Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime Well take the best, forget the rest And someday well find these are the best of times These are the best of times
The headlines read these are the worst of times I do believe its true I feel so helpless like a boat against the tide I wish the summer winds could bring back paradise But I know, if the world turned upside down Baby, I know youd always be around
The best of times are when Im alone with you Some rain some shine, well make this a world for two Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime Well take the best, forget the rest And someday well find these are the best of times These are the best of times
And So my friends well say goodnight for time has claimed its prize But tonight will always last As long as we keep alive memories of paradise...

Makes for a nice combination: red, white and blue. Like our national flag...
